Even if you're not a veg --
-- you pretty much have to go here just once. Absolutely wonderful place. ^_^ It's in a nice little tudor style building with cupolas and such -- the bathroom is in one of them. They have a huge menu and I was happy that I could eat almost everything on it! Har har! They do serve a couple of dishes with organic, free range (pasture, not just cage-free in a warehouse) chicken, and salmon and seafood, but for the most part it's vegan fare. Ridiculously yummy. I had a grilled portobello mushroom dinner and my mom had blackened tempeh, which I had to taste because I tried making tempeh once and it didnt turn out well but MAAAAN was it great there! I get sick of eating salads or fries and even in big cities it can be hard to find a real veggie-friendly restaurant, but right here in Omaha -- and I never would've expected that since this city is famous for cow carcass =p
ANYWAY, if you're out and want some food that tastes home cooked in an atmosphere that feels like somebody's house, and where you don't even have to wonder if your food is ecologically sound, try McFosters. Fliiiippppiiinnng Greeaaaaatt!!
